This update fixes a problem that causes the scanner software to
fail to "send" the euro symbol - € - to word processing
applications when scanning text for OCR.
Choose the file you want to download to your system. With your
mouse, click on the file. In the 'save as' dialogue, you will be

series of scanners. This update resolves the following issue:
- Image Quality problems.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Before installing this update, close all other
programs and make sure that the scanner is connected to the
computer and powered on.

This software updates the Destinations List for all scanning
software that supports destinations. Destinations are the "Send To"
options in your scanning software that allow you to send scanned
images directly to a third party application. If you don't have a
"Send To" option in your software, you cannot use this update.
The primary addition to the Destinations list for this update is
Microsoft Office XP.

Manual Installation Instructions:
Choose the file you want to download to your system. With your
mouse, click on the file. The file will decompress into a default
folder c:sj668, or any folder of your choice. Go to c:sj668 (or
the folder you chose). Double-click on the file you downloaded.
Click "Unzip" on the window that appears, then "OK" twice. The
software will install automatically.
